Seattle OpenSource Linux Monthly Meetup

Noobs to gurus, come eat, drink and talk with fellow open source enthusiasts. Bring your Linux questions, run some ideas by the group or just come hang out. This month, memeber Sam Morley is going to give a briefly talk entitled: 'My experiences with joining the Federation, exploring the fediverse and setting up a Mastodon home server instance(pt. 1?)' Mastodon is a decentralized, censorship resistant and open source micro blogging platform that is billed as a twitter alternative. We are meeting at Razzi's Pizzeria in Greenwood in the cellar banquet room. The banquet room is free as long as we order food and it is all ages so everyone is welcome! Here's a link to their site If you would like to check out the venue ahead of time: Seattle OpenSource Linux Monthly Meetup is open to all regardless of nationality, sexual and affectional orientation, gender identity and its expression, racial and cultural identity and background, religious background and belief, marital status, family structure, age, mental and physical health and ability or educational and class status.
